A Day In The Life Of An Assessor

I thought it might be interesting to share a few brief thoughts on my experiences as an assessor.

Working with groups of students is similar to working with clients.  They are human beings with problems and wanting to share.

This sharing is such a positive experience when the locked-up story is unrecognised and unheard.
Sometimes we think we are under-valued, however sharing with like-minded and caring people who are sharing the same journey can be such a relief.
To find yourself understood and listened to when sometimes we even doubt ourselves, can be a massive change in the life of someone who is struggling.

Can you relate to any of this?  Do you share your stories with your assessor?  Perhaps you are an assessor yourself? If you’re in the therapy industry or studying, keep your eyes open for information on our Skills In Action workshops.
